Game Balance
~ Adjusted power scaling across the board. - This stuff is hard to get right.
~ Higher upgrade rarities are more likely to appear, however their bonuses have been slightly lowered to create a more consistent experience. - I'm gonna keep it a stack here; I got no clue what I'm doing.
+ You now gain 5 Max Mana on each upgrade screen except the first, regardless of which upgrade you choose. - Mana issues are tough to handle. This way, going for mana shouldn't always be the best choice.
Experimental
A place for stuff I'm not sure I want to keep in, or that is work in progress.
+ If you choose the ManaRegen upgrade, you will also receive (5% * upgrade rarity) of your maximum Mana, instantly.
- You gain less total ManaRegen per upgrade.
This is to alleviate a previous issue, where upon reaching the upgrade screen with low mana, the player was extremely likely to die after choosing an upgrade. Now, when you choose this upgrade, you get a small mana boost to get a comeback going, in exchange for less overall regeneration.
Bug Fixes
The system in charge of detecting when identical upgrades appear, and changing them to a unique one, has been rehauled. - The previous system for upgrades would very rarely spit out two of the same upgrade. That sucks, and should never happen. And now it won't!
